My brother, Michael, came for a visit during the first week of January. I bought him a plane ticket for Christmas in hopes of seeing snow and maybe going skiing. However, the snow came the day after he left.
Bradley and I enjoyed including Michael in things we do together. We ate at Red Robin for lunch and had some of their amazing burgers. We did some hiking by the Gorge and ate at Swenson’s. Michael wanted to go to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, so I took him, and the displays are really something to see. The other big excitement was the purchase of an iPod for Michael as a surprise gift. Bradley, Michael and myself took a drive to Legacy Village in Lynhurst and shopped at the Apple Store there. Following that we had dinner at Stir Crazy. This is another restaurant we love. You are able to make your own stir fry combination and the chef cooks it in a big wok for you to watch. Amazing food.
Check out the pictures from Michael’s trip in the Photos section.
Last weekend was the big move from Cuyahoga Falls to North Canton. Things went smoothly with the help of Bradley, his parents and a moving company. I am now in a 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom town home which is conveniently located to a ton of places. I have a Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts and Walmart within 2 minutes… what more could you need? My drive to work is about 20 minutes now, but I am only 8 minutes away from the man of my life. =)
Praise the Lord for a somewhat easy move and blessing me with a great place to live and an awesome boyfriend!!
Bradley’s mom was part of an art show at the Pine Tree Barn last weekend. She is a great artist and specializes in painting pins, pendants and earrings. The place originally started as a Christmas tree farm. Every year they have a show where artists and other venders can come and showcase their work. The theme is 18th century and there are men who reinact things from the war. They fire muskets, put up tents and other duties of a soldier. It was a gorgeous day and a fun place to be. It was also great to see Brad’s mom at a show and meet some people she knows from other shows. (By the way, everyone who participated in the show had to dress in 18th century clothes. Brad’s mom doesn’t dress like that everyday)
